Sponsors & Partnerships
Influencer Partnerships
As we are a free service for the motorcycle community we do not earn revenue from memberships like other platforms do. We chose this route of business as we are bikers ourselves and new there were gaps in the biking community that needed filling.
Due to this we then rely on the support of other brands and influencers to help get our platform and name out there for bikers to find us! In return for their support we create a dedicated influencer page that shows that influencers YouTube content such as playlists. This allows our users to find video content and influencers in the motorcycle community and have the ability to like, subscribe and not to mention every YouTube video watched on our platform adds views to the content as if being watched directly on the YouTube platform. Another great outlet for motorcycle influencers to double their view count and reach.
Brand Sponsorship
Brand sponsorships work in the same manner as influencer partnerships in the fact that for brand recognition of MeetupMoto we return the favour with our dedicated advertising positions on our website and in our app… You can find out more using the links at the top of the page.
Events
Posting Events.
There are 2 ways to post events on the MeetupMoto platform, the first is to use the Events link in the header menu next to the MeetupMoto logo. You have multiple options there to create and manage your events which are then posted into the common events calendar for all to see…
The second and our favourite option which we are very proud of and really is the pinnacle of motorcycle meet up groups which is the ability to post events directly into your group for your group members to see only. When posting in a group you have to be a owner or moderator of the group and also any event posted in a group does not show in the main events calendar as they are specific to your group members only.
Moto Points
What are Moto Points?
Moto Points are essentially community points for being active on the MeetupMoto platform right now, by being active in various different ways as an example;
- Login in on a regular basis..
- Posting Content
- Other riders liking your posts
- Getting followers
- Inviting other riders that register… (this is a big one!)
In return we award you points different amounts for different activities…
What Do We Do With Them?
What we do with them right now is we can use the points to keep tally and on a month and then reward the top runner.
Future Plans for Moto Points.
We plan to also reward points along side Biker Bucket List achievements for attending a major rally or event like Sturgis, particular rides like Pacific Coast Hwy 1 or attending certain locations like Vegas Baby! (FYI you have to be on motorcycles…)
We plan to let you convert them to make purchases with the big motorcycle brands which you will be able to chose from so if your a Harley Rider or Indian Rider, Triumph Rider etc. Plus more!
Its a very simple system really, we give you stuff for riding your bikes or talking about bikes and going places!
Profile Types
We have created multiple profile types so that you can create a more accurate motorcycle profiles, this is so when riders are searching for other riders, they can narrow down like minded riders more accurately.
Available profile types are listed below and have different features added or removed depending on relevance.
- Biker
- Biker Girl
- Brand
- Journalist
- Influencer
You cannot have more than one profile type associated with your name so if you have a brand or are an influencer you will have to create a second account. If you have any issues with your profile type and would like to change, we can help you but please be aware you may lose any content or setting you have previously added. Also, please not in some circumstances we may ask for proof before making any changes.

Group Type *required

- Anything Goes
- Chapter
- Motorcycle Specific
- Event
- Motorcycle News
- Podcast
- Youtuber
- Project
Parent Group *optional
This allows you to put a group inside another existing group. The reason for doing this is so that you could have your motorcycle ‘main group’, then multiple groups within the main groups which is great for segregating events, Rides, Info board, Planners only and the list goes on.
Also we have done this in particular if you are a club or chapter it means that a rider that might want to join a ride has to already be a member of your ‘main group’ (the parent group).
This is also beneficial when try to figure out numbers on rides and each group gets a dedicated Activity wall to post content of all their shenanigans…!
Group Forum/Discussion board *optional
Create a discussion forum to allow members of this group to communicate in a structured, bulletin-board style fashion. If you make your group public your discussion board is available for all to see and take part in.
Messaging
User Messaging: User messaging is as you would expect it, you have a dedicated inbox just for private messaging within the app. Please note that we work with totally privacy for the user including messaging within our platform, that being said if you choose to give any personal information to other users through our platform, as stated in our privacy policy you do so with full responsibility of knowing the repercussions of handing out your data, and no repercussions fall on MeetupMoto.
Group Messaging Inbox:
All groups have their own individual message inbox and is also separate from your profile inbox. This has been split into two categories;
- Group messaging which allows you to broadcast messages to the whole group or selected members.
- Private messaging that lets you message individuals privately.
Activity Feed(s)
How these differ so you understand what you’re seeing and why!
Activity Feed
The Activity feed is your main news feed that is the home page you can access this by clicking the MeetupMoto Logo or by selecting ‘Activity Feed‘ from the sidebar on the left side of the screen. You can post directly to the Activity Feed if you wish, the members that will see this are your connections (friends) and followers, this works the same for you seeing any post of someone you are following or connected with.
Group Feed
All groups have their own dedicate Activity Feed called group feed which you have to be a member of the group in order to post anything into that feed. No matter if the group is Public, Private or Hidden if you are a member, then posts will show your Main Activity Feed. Once you leave the group the posts top showing.
Your Time-Line
If you post anything anywhere in MeetupMoto it shows on your time-line this is more of a tracking history. If you post directly to someones time-line they will see it on their ‘Main Activity Feed‘ also. This is not a way to private message someone as other members connected to that person can still visit each others time-lines and therefore see any direct posts. If you post into a Private or Hidden group then you will see this on your time-line your timeline but those who are not part of the specific Private or Hidden group will not be able to, this is to maintain group privacy.
We understand that managing a community that you find some users can mistreat our service and other members. If you find that you are in a situation where another member is being verbally abusive towards yourself, you can use the links below each content post , You can use the links provided in each user profile . We also have an Admin group which the admins hang around on which you can talk to use there on or message use, this is a less official way of doing it compared to using the links provided within the platform.
